"My parents were divorced when I was five. My father, an alcoholic, took off with me and my sister and brother.  When my mother and new step-father kidnapped me and my sister back, things were really different for me.  That first night, for example, we had a Bible-study led by my mom.  Since that time (I was eight) I accepted Christ as my savior and have been raised in a church.  I went to a small Baptist college in West Texas and served as a missionary journeyman for two years in Venezuela.  Since, I've been struggling with BEING who God wants me to BE, rather than being so concerned with doing."
